 | Our Personal Touch | Etienne Garcia and Sarah Quee are the co-founders of the walking organisation ‘Tour Aventure.’ They have chosen and developed an efficient, friendly, conscientious team who have the experience and expertise to provide unforgettable holidays. We invite you to discover some very special places, via a company that is above all, convivial and in tune with individual needs. You will find more details of our staff, under the Tour Aventure Team web page. |
 | Based in the region | Most of the Tour-Aventure team are French and originate from Corsica, Provence, the Pyrénées and Sardinia, an essential factor that explains why we have such an intimate knowledge of the terrain. We are a well-integrated part of the community and have formed strong friendships with the local people we work with. This means we are in the best position to deal with any type of request. Our goal is to satisfy each client by taking into account each individual need. We use every possible means to make sure that your holiday is adapted to your objectives and to your budget whilst maintaining a high quality. This is one of the reasons for our success over all these years, and the increasing number of people who are choosing to holiday with a more personal company, who are based in the region, and where the service is always personal and friendly. |
 | Careful selection | We deal with all the organisation of the holiday from the conception of an original itinerary and the day to day programme to the writing of precise route notes. We take special care in our selection of accommodations, picking out the most enchanting, authentic and inviting places. Location is also important to us, which means we sometimes chose more rustic lodgings to avoid unnecessary straying from the itinerary… Your transfers also require special attention and organisation in order to select transport which is best adapted to the terrain. Your transfers could be by mini-bus, taxi, 4x4 or even, when possible, by mountain rail or by boat. In every holiday description you will find a detailed presentation of the accommodation and transfers. |
 | Tour Leaders and Mountain Guides | Attentive to your individual needs, the guides are there to ensure the quality and smooth running of your holiday, as well as your mountain safety on the more rugged trips. Their personal experience and local knowledge will lead you off the beaten track towards a genuine insight and authentic experience. |
 | Your comfort | An important element of any itinerary is the logistical backup. In all our walking, cycle and multi-activity holidays the people who deal with your luggage transfers and the organisation of all taxi transfers work behind the scenes but are never far away. You may meet up at day break in a remote convent to find a fantastic breakfast prepared, or cross paths in the mountains with mules laden with bags and food en route to an isolated shepherd’s cabin. Although more often in the background, their efficient, level headed calm, resourcefulness, wit and sturdy approach make them an invaluable part of the organisation. We provide solid on the ground logistics, we pick the right guides and local people to ensure that your holiday goes smoothly. We have thought of everything so that your holiday will be a success. From the time you book to the end of your stay, we anticipate everything because, for us, the high quality of your holiday goes hand in hand with impeccable organisation. |
