| Exemple itnerary | Sunday - Arrival at Ajaccio airport and drive up to the village. Lunch in one of the many village cafés or restaurants. Relax by the swimming pool or walk to the river.
Monday - A morning mountain biking. There are some great tracks through the forest, your guide will lead the way.
Tuesday - Short drive up to the Col de Bavella where you can choose a mountain hike and picnic in the forest
Wednesday – Canyoning, there are four canyons to choose from, each very different and very exhilerating.
Thursday – Free Day to head down to the beaches and Porto Vechio
Friday – A short drive up from the village you have the wonderful accrobranch park. This is an exciting circuit of zip wires, ropes, swing bridges, there are different levels of difficulty to suit all abilities. The via ferrata is a challenging traverse over rocks and cliff faces, the views are fantastic and make a stunning backdrop.
Saturday – A more technical bike ride, you can pick from the many different exhilerating descents or perhaps get your adrenelin going with a second canyon.

With Easy Jet having finally penetrated the corsican skies, it is possible to book a flight and car hire competitevely. You fly in pick up your car hire and head for the hills. This is a week that is made to measure, you can make it full of non stop action, or choose to make it active with relaxing time too. The holiday is based in a beautiful, vibrant little village in the south of the island in the Alta Rocca. It is a dynamic hot spot for a whole range of outdoor sports. From the village, you can choose to do easy, or challenging mountain biking, canyonning, hiking on the GR20, a tree walking circuit with zip wires, rope bridges and via ferrata.
The village is surrounded by forested mountains, rivers, gorges and rockpools so there are plenty of swimming opportunities. From the village it is just a short drive to a high lake, the osphedele and down to the coast. The village of Porto Vecchio boasts some lovely cafés, boutiques and nearby beaches. |  |  |  |

Day 1 After you've settled into your hotel for the day, you can explore the village of Zonza. Situated near by the most dramatic mountain scenery in the South, this picturesque granite village is the meeting point for hikers, climbers and horse riders.
Walking: A hiking paradise, we provide maps and route notes for various walks on the GR20. This is Corsica's famous long distance trail. You can walk to a refuge, a high rock arch, or just picnic in the forest. The scenery is breathtaking and there are lots of options to choose from.
Mountain biking: The village boasts the island's first and only MCF, school of french cycling moniteurs. There is a whole range of mountain biking available, from gentle forest trails, to technical single track descents and even timed rocket down hill runs.
Canyonning: There are the most prestigious canyons nestled around the village, there are four to choose from. Two introductory ones and two that are physically demanding. They all involve jumping, sliding and swimming down through a series of waterfalls and rockpools. The canyons have wonderful sculpted rock formations and take you through some wild water chasms.
A spectacular walk through tall needles of rose granite that tower above you. You will pass by different pinnacles, such as, the Acellu, Ariettu, Vacca and the Pargulu. 12km, 7h00, +900m, -900m.
A walk to the Trou de la Bombe, a circular opening that pierces the Paliri crest of peaks. A pleasant walk under Larriccio pine trees and superb views over the gulf of Porto Vecchio. 6km, 3h00, +300m, -300m. |
