Day 1 Arrive in Ajaccio and check into your hotel. Time to explore the town, the ambience is Mediterranean and vibrant. |
Day 2
If you feel like it, there is a cliff walk that leads up behind the town and offers wonderful views of the coastline and the gulf. from 6km to 11km, from 2h00 to 4h00 , from +140m to +340m, from -140m to -340m. From the village of Ota, a walk in the Spelunca Gorge. 14km, 5h30, +780m, -780m. |
Day 3 After crossing the Vitrone ravine with its imposing red porphyry rock face, the path then rejoins the Capu San Petru, a splendid rocky belvedere that dominates Serriera and its region. 11km, 6h00, +600m, -900m. |
Day 4 Ascending progressively on a path overlooking the village of Partinellu and the whole bay of Porto, you will be pleasantly overwhelmed by the scent of the maquis. From the summit of Curzu a ridge walk offers wonderful sea views. 14km, 6h00, +1100m, -1100m. |
Day 5 As you make your way to the tiny fishing haven of Girolata (only accessible by foot or boat), you can take the high route through the shrubby hill tops or take advantage of the swim stops along the coastal path. 7km, 3h00, +344m, -344m. |
Day 6 The path rejoins the Lucciu ridge (697m) affording a unique view over the Girolata gulf and its red granite cliffs. Descent to Galéria along the Tavulaghju stream. 11km, 6h00, +785m, -785m. |
Day 7 Bus to Calvi in the morning. End of holiday on arrival in Calvi. Possibility of returning to Ajaccio by « Trinichellu »,the railway that goes through the interior of the island. |

 | Trip Summary | Start At your first hotel in Ajaccio. If day 2 falls on a sunday or a bank holiday then your first 2 nights will be in Ota. End At the bus station in Calvi. Consult us for the possibility of returning to Ajaccio. How to get there Ajaccio Airport or port. Accommodation Two formulas: all hotels or dormitories in gites. Number of people From 2 Level of difficulty The walks are on good footpaths and trails, the terrain is varied but often rocky. You need to be used to walking and take regular exercise to enjoy this holiday. Guide Self-guided walking. Carrying You need to carry a small day sack only with a water bottle, camera, picnic and wind jacket. The main luggage will be transported by vehicle between the different accommodations.
